Colorful vignettes painted softly with inspiration in hope of recovery blending light humor into adult life confounded by misdiagnosed ADD leading to child abuse drenched under cloudbursts of PTSD.

Complex PTSD is psychological injury resulting from continual abuse. There’s no escape because the abuser is often a parent.
Abusers may have Sadistic Personality Disorder. The hallmark of SPD is that the person enjoys inflicting cruelty upon others.

13:} There Are Places...

Been
trying for
years to figure
out where the hell
I've been all this time.
Now, let's see...

I
have
lived in
Mission Hill,
and in Allston,
then Brigham Circle,
South Huntington Avenue,
Central and Harvard Squares,
however, not at the same time.
I have shared a night or three with
friends meandering about mysterious
pathways glowing moonlit throughout
profoundly kaleidoscopic country lanes,
planetary expanses of hillock and glen,
even mountains! With a tower so tall
you can scope horizons from atop
the earth, all entwined within
the arcane, spectral designs
of Mount Auburn Cemetery.
On top of Mission Hill, or
in the Public Gardens,
Saint Botolph Street,
upon the Esplanade,
the Essex Hotel,
Brookline,
Watertown,
at Charlesgate East,
not West, in Kenmore Square,
although we who worked and dwelled
there renamed it as crazy 'Kenmore Scare’!
The nostalgic Beacon Chambers Hotel For Men,
motels on gorgeous Clearwater Beach in Flori-dooda!
Also in downtown Clearwater where strange armies of
women and men dressed in white shirts with black pants
or skirts adorned in black ties wearing sunglasses all night
carried briefcases or paper-filled springboards loaded with
auditing forms or other informational handouts drifting
vaporous through dozens of storefronts mirrored with
glass facades to derange their secret activities!
Quincy, Somerville, East Boston, East
Bridgewater, Brockton,
Norton, Attleboro,
West Roxbury,
Dorchester
then Lowell, finally
ending up in Tyngsboro,
all in lovely Massachusetts,
all pretty much in that order,
and boy, am I really pooped...!
These are the places I'll remember...
